The Furman PQ3 is a legendary parametric EQ that has cemented itself in music history.​ Most of the time the PQ3 was used as a preamp before the amplifier as a mid boost.  We've taken the PQ3 circuit that is in our EQFH Professional and trimmed it down to make a pedal that has the preamp from the PQ3 and the mid EQ circuit.

The pedal has 4 controls:  FREQ (Frequency), FOCUS (bandwidth, or Q), BOOST (-infinity to +20 dB) and LEVEL (up to +20dB of boost).

There are 2 main ways that you can use this pedal:

As a mid boost in front of your amp.  You can dial in the mid frequency that you want to boost, set the focus to now wide or narrow you want to boost around that frequency, and then the amount you want to boost (from 12 o'clock to 5 o'clock) and then the overall level.  This will allow up to a total of 40dB of boost to slam the front end of your amp.

The other way you can use the pedal is to remove trouble frequencies like excessive low end.  Dial in the frequencies you want to eliminate and adjust the focus if you want a surgical like cut or a broad cut and then the amount you want to cut on the BOOST control (from 12 o'clock to 7 o'clock).

The pedal is also finished with a glow in the dark powder coat to show off both the uniqueness of the circuit as well as the striking graphics.
