The Marauder
The Marauder pedal is based on the preamp found in the classic Peavey Bandit Blue/Teal stripe amplifier from the late 1980s and 1990s. Now in a new, smaller pedal-board friendly 125B enclosure!

Schecter Nick Johnston Strat Review & Demo (Sails of Charon)
The pedal uses a standard boss-style 9V power supply. There is internal circuitry to generate a ±15V power supply, just like the original amplifiers used.
Controls include: Pre (gain), Post ("volume"), Master, Bottom, Body, and Edge. The Bottom, Body and Edge controls are an active boost/cut EQ as on the original amp. The Pre control acts like the "Supersat" control on the original amp. The Post control is the volume control. During the design of the pedal, we noticed that changing the post control to make the pedal output higher also resulted in a change in the tone and character of the distortion, so we added a Master volume control to help keep the tone you like with the post control but be able adjust the output volume.
We kept the Bright switch that was only functional on the clean channel on the original amp. Also, there is a low/hi gain switch and a shift switch that adjusts the mid frequency for the active EQ.
Each pedal uses a professionally assembled PCB and is proudly assembled by hand in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Other features include:
- True bypass
- Alpha 16mm potentiometers
- Lumberg power connector
- Professional high quality FR4 PCB
- Powdercoated enclosure
- UV Printed artwork
The end result is high quality pedals that sound amazing, are consistent from pedal-to-pedal.
Each pedal comes with a 1 year warranty on parts and labour. Note that the warranty does not cover damage due to using an improper power supply or other misuse.
