We've been hard at work improving the design of the Trinity and we are pleased to finally be able to reveal the Trinity Deluxe version 2!  We added some switches and changed a few things under the hood to make it even more amp-like and even more like the original tube amp!

First, we made some changes to the power section:  we went back from the old bipolar design to a unipolar configuration.  There power section now takes 9V and boosts it to 33V to give exceptional headroom and amp-like feel and response. More on this later.

Controls include: Volume, Drive, Master, Bass, Middle, and Treble. There are now five toggle switches for Bright (Volume and Lead Drive), Deep, Mid Boost, and Treble Shift.  The Treble Shift toggle changes the center frequency of the mids from approximately 500Hz to 280Hz.  The mid boost circuit we borrowed from the Mark IV and infused it into the Mark II C+ circuit.

 

There is also a 5-band boost/cut graphic EQ with center frequencies at 80, 240, 750, 2200, and 6600 Hz.  The previous version used IC-based gyrators for the eq section.  We did extensive testing and comparisons and found that using transistor based gyrators sounded better.  The Q is just a touch wider and the peaks are not as sharp as the IC versions, making them sound more musical.  These also run at the full 33V for maximum headroom.
 

Each pedal uses a professionally assembled PCB and is proudly assembled by hand in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Each pedal comes with a 1 year warranty on parts and labour. Note that the warranty does not cover damage due to using an improper power supply or other misuse.
